| Indian Government is also taking necessary steps to move towards an open economy whereby tariff barriers are being removed, thus enabling easy and viable imports of a number of products hitherto unknown to Indian consumers. |

The absence of any recognized organization [at the same time the presence of innumerable bottlenecks that face importers like the proverbial Damocles' sword!] to represent Indian importers has led to the formation of Indian Importers Association under the able guidance of highly-respected individuals from International trade fraternity. IIA is committed to take proactive as well as remedial measures with various Governmental departments for the welfare of Indian importers. |

| Indian Importers Association , is a Non Profitable All India Body , registered under the Indian Societies Act , entirely to look after the interest / solving of numerous problems with the ministries of Commerce , Finance, Customs , Reserve Bank of India , Ministry of External Affairs of all the importers mainly located in India. |

| The Association main purpose is to support foreign manufactures and investors to find reliable partners in India. For this the Association maintains a well documented data bank and commercial information in various fields. The Association also has a full fledged legal cell to help the foreign manufactures / investors to take advice on very nominal cost basis. |

| The economic scenario of open economy in this globe has transformed a vital change I.E presently imports ultimately leads to substantial exports. Thus bulk of revenue is being generated by the countries of import. For example, USA is the largest importer and also the biggest economy in the world. |

| The Association works with various Chambers of Commerce in the worldwide. It is also working closely with various trade offices in India like AMCHEM (USA), VIETNAM TRADE OFFICE, SPAINISH TRADE OFFICE, SOUTH AFRICAN TRADE OFFICE, AUSTRADE (AUSTRALIA), MATRADE (MALAYSIA), CCPIT (CHINA) ETC. |

| Also the Association is in direct touch with certain international trade organizations like CIFTI (Moscow), Kotra (Korea), CEPEC (Tunisia). |

| Indian Importers Association can also work closely with foreign trade missions / Embassies in India, to arrange for one to one seller and buyer meetings. Our Association is fully capable of initiating, developing, marketing, promoting, implementing and finalisation of any sort of business in shortest possible times in India / Foreign Countries. Indian Importers Association is receiving lot of request, from the natives of foreign countries to make them the member of Indian Importers Association and soon we are going to open, offices in many foreign countries to rope in the foreign members, and facilitate and promote, foreign, bi lateral trade. |
